The modeling and analysis of social networks has become a major recent area among engineers and economists because of the growth of internet commerce and social networks, which have opened new avenues for advertising. This has thrown open several algorithmic issues that have occupied some of the best minds in the research community. This conference will have some of them presentt the stte of the art and expose the Indian academic community to the current issues in the field.
